After being gone over the weekend for my 50th high school reunion up at Interlochen, and then taking yesterday off, too, in order to practice piano and compose, it was good to get back to riding today on a magnificent fall day—sunny and 55° when I began, at 9:45, up to 66° when I finished. (It got up to 70° yesterday afternoon, as we are currently experiencing a flurry of late summer temperature, and I wanted to get out today before it warmed up too much.)
This gave me a ride today of 13.8 miles in 1:46.
